Tether Freezes Over $344 Million USDT in Cooperation with US Law Enforcement

BroadChain, April 24, 01:16 - Tether disclosed on April 23 that it has cooperated with the US government to freeze approximately $344 million USDT in two addresses. This action was based on intelligence provided by multiple US agencies regarding suspected illegal activities, preventing further transfer of funds.

Tether stated that it has collaborated with over 340 law enforcement agencies in 65 countries, assisting in more than 2,300 cases, of which over 1,200 involve the US. Cumulatively, it has frozen over $4.4 billion in assets (including $2.1 billion related to the US).
