BroadChain learned that at 06:16 on April 24, according to NewsBTC, based on the model of crypto commentator The Remi Relief, if Ripple's infrastructure handles 50% of SWIFT's annual cross-border transaction volume (approximately $150 trillion), it would require about $250 billion in XRP liquidity to avoid slippage, corresponding to an XRP unit price in the range of $1,500 to $2,000. If it captures 100% of the traffic, the price could rise to between $3,000 and $4,000.
This assumption is based on Ripple having partnered with approximately 300 institutions, and at least 30 banks in SWIFT's new retail payment framework maintaining connections with the Ripple network. Ripple recently acquired Hidden Road for $1.25 billion and expanded its Treasury platform into the SWIFT ecosystem, supporting enterprises in choosing XRP or RLUSD for blockchain settlement.
