BroadChain has learned that at 23:16 on April 21, according to Decrypt, Block's payment app Cash App has launched a custodial account for teenagers under 13 called "Cash App Kids." It offers an FDIC-insured debit card and a savings feature with an annual percentage yield of 4.50%. However, this account does not support Cash App's core Bitcoin buying, selling, and transfer functions. This move aims to attract younger users and expand the family financial services market. Currently, the service is only available to select invited families.
