KelpDAO Hacked, Losing $293 Million

BroadChain has learned that at 09:16 on April 19, according to PANews, on April 19, KelpDAO suffered a vulnerability attack, where hackers minted 116,500 rsETH out of thin air, resulting in a loss of approximately $293 million. According to on-chain analyst monitoring, most of the rsETH was deposited into Aave as collateral to borrow ETH, while a small portion was directly sold for ETH. Through both collateral and sale methods, the hackers ultimately obtained approximately 106,466 ETH, valued at around $250 million.
