Japanese stablecoin issuer JPYC has completed an additional 2.8 billion yen Series B funding round, bringing its total funding to 4.6 billion yen. The funds will be used for system development, business expansion, and strategic investments. The company is actively expanding its partnership network and deploying in scenarios such as cross-border payments.

Japanese listed company Metaplanet has completed a financing round of approximately $270 million and plans to raise an additional $300 million via warrants, bringing its total potential fundraising to $570 million. The funds will advance its long-term goal of holding 210,000 BTC; the company currently holds approximately 35,000 BTC. Metaplanet will deploy various financial instruments to secure funding while strictly managing leverage risk, and simultaneously expand its ecosystem initiatives in crypto venture capital and stablecoins.
