BroadChain News, April 24, 08:16, according to NewsBTC, Lido Finance submitted a proposal to the Aave research forum on April 24, planning to provide up to 2,500 stETH (approximately $6 million) in a one-time allocation to cover the over 100,000 ETH shortfall in KelpDAO's rsETH caused by the LayerZero bridge attack. The funds will only be used if the rescue plan can cover the entire deficit, and any unused portion will be returned to the Lido treasury.
Previously, Aave launched the "DeFi United" ecological coordination initiative, with Lido being the first public participant. Since the attack on April 18, Aave has seen a net outflow of approximately $9 billion, with total value locked (TVL) dropping from about $17.5 billion to $14.3 billion; the TVL of lending protocols across the market shrank by about $13 billion within 48 hours.
