博链BroadChain learned that at 23:30 on April 22, Mantle Network recently announced the launch of the "2026 On-Chain Turing Test Hackathon" with a total prize pool of $120,000. This two-stage competition aims to promote the integration of agent-based AI with on-chain infrastructure, inviting developers to deploy autonomous agents on Mantle. The event is co-hosted by Mantle, Bybit, Byreal, and the Blockchain for Good Alliance, with support from DoraHacks and HackQuest.
The first stage of the competition, "ClawHack Lobster Battle," has already started on April 15 with a $20,000 prize pool and will run until April 30. Participants need to execute on-chain strategies within Mantle's DeFi ecosystem through Byreal's AI agent trading platform, RealClaw, with evaluation based on trading volume and return on investment. The second stage, "AI Awakening," has a prize pool of $100,000 and features six tracks including AI Trading & Strategy, AI Alpha & Data, and AI x RWA.
The core highlight of this hackathon is the first large-scale benchmark testing of AI agent performance in an on-chain environment. Every decision and result of the AI agents will be permanently recorded on the Mantle network and receive identity NFTs through the ERC-8004 standard. Additionally, the "AI Awakening" stage will be broadcast live globally to ensure transparency. The judging panel includes members from institutions such as Allora Network, Nansen, Animoca Brands, and scholars from the University of Hong Kong.
Emily Bao, Head of Bybit Spot Business, Mantle Core Advisor, and Founder of Byreal, pointed out that this event marks the birth of a new category. By connecting Mantle's distribution layer with the agent framework, it is building the infrastructure for the next wave of Web3, creating verifiable on-chain value for autonomous agents.
