BroadChain learned that on April 24 at 10:16, on-chain analyst Yu Jin posted on X platform, pointing out that the funding gap caused by the rsETH incident is approximately 68,900 ETH (about $160 million). This figure is calculated by subtracting the 30,700 ETH recovered by Arbitrum from the 99,600 ETH borrowed by the hacker using rsETH as collateral. Since the hacker has exchanged ETH for BTC, the situation is currently in the cleanup phase.
The "DeFi United" rescue operation coordinated by Aave has received approximately 13,500 ETH (about $31.45 million) in donations, including: 2,500 stETH from Lido Finance, 5,000 ETH from ether.fi, 5,000 ETH from Aave founder Stani Kulechov, and 1,000 ETH from Golem Foundation.
The donation amounts from Ethena, LayerZero, ink, and tydro have not yet been disclosed.
