BroadChain has learned that on April 11, Tom Lee, Chairman of Bitmine, shared an interview with Ethereum co-founder Joe Lubin.
In the interview, Lubin revealed that after meeting and exchanging ideas with Michael Saylor, founder of Bitcoin treasury firm MicroStrategy, he became convinced that a "MicroStrategy-style model for Ethereum" could be executed even more effectively.
Citing Bitmine and Tom Lee's approach as an example, Lubin explained that the core strategy involves continuously accumulating and staking ETH—deploying 100% of capital into ETH and staking all of it to generate yield, enabling compounding growth from the very start.
Unlike simply holding BTC, Ethereum allows for asset appreciation and reallocation through staking yields and the multi-layered return mechanisms within its ecosystem. This shifts balance sheets from a passive "hold-only" model to an active "yield + allocation" model.
