OpenAI has completed a $122 billion funding round, achieving a post-money valuation of $852 billion. The funds will be used to accelerate the global expansion and application of AI technologies, aiming to lead progress in the AI field through large-scale development.

Bitcoin mining company Bitfarms reported $229 million in revenue for FY2025, a 72% year-on-year increase. Interactive Brokers has expanded its cryptocurrency trading services to the European Economic Area (EEA) through a partnership with Zero Hash, supporting 11 digital assets including BTC, ETH, and SOL. Investors in Europe can now trade crypto assets across its multiple trading platforms while continuing to access traditional financial products. Previously, Interactive Brokers offered similar services in the U.S. and the U.K.

Ant Group has acquired a 50.55% stake in Yiu Fai Securities for HK$2.814 billion, and the transaction has been completed. Following the acquisition, Yiu Fai Securities’ board of directors has been fully restructured, with multiple senior executives from Ant Group joining the board.

Tax authorities in multiple regions of China are strengthening tax oversight of offshore trusts holding shares in Hong Kong-listed companies, mandating beneficial owners to report dividend income, proceeds from share disposals, and other financial information. Bitcoin spot ETFs’ total assets under management (AUM) have now surpassed $85.4 billion, with cumulative net inflows reaching $56 billion to date.

Space computing company Starcloud has closed a $170 million Series A funding round, achieving an $1.1 billion valuation. The round was co-led by Benchmark and EQT Ventures. The company plans to launch Starcloud 2—a computing platform equipped with Nvidia chips and Bitcoin miners—in 2026, and is developing Starcloud 3, a data-center spacecraft intended for launch aboard SpaceX's Starship.

Morgan Stanley has launched its spot Bitcoin ETF, ticker MSBT, with an annual fee of just 0.14%, the lowest in the U.S. The fund is custodied by Coinbase and features cash management provided by BNY Mellon. It is the first spot Bitcoin ETF directly issued by a major U.S. bank. Dunamu, the parent company of South Korea's largest cryptocurrency exchange Upbit, announced its 2025 financial results, with both revenue and profit declining. Revenue totaled approximately $1.097 billion, down 10% year-on-year; net profit stood at approximately $498 million, down 27.9%. The decline was primarily driven by global economic headwinds and shrinking cryptocurrency market trading volumes. The company's revenue remains highly dependent on trading fees, which accounted for as high as 98.26% of total revenue.

Last week, XRP spot ETFs recorded $2.66M in net inflows, with Bitwise XRP being the only product posting net inflows; its cumulative net inflows reached $377M. The total assets under management (AUM) of XRP spot ETFs currently stand at $933M, with cumulative net inflows totaling $1.21B.
